FCCO MULTI-FACET MICRO-VISION
BARRIERS GOD HAS ENABLED US TO BREAK THROUGH
First Barrier – Tradition.
FCCO has a history of being a traditional church that has served Ossipee for 200 years. 1995 was a defining year as we moved from being a small town church to becoming a regional church.
Second Barrier. Vision.
As God gave us the vision to reach the Lakes Region with the gospel, this has spilled over into a mandate of sharing our resources around the world.
Third Barrier. Communications.
Bringing in a full-time Director of Communications has enabled our church to better communicate internally with our own church family and externally throughout the Lakes Region.
Fourth Barrier. Prayer.
We have been brought to our knees in prayer corporately and regularly as we have sought God’s wisdom and asked for the necessary faith to complete the mission God has called us to.
Fifth Barrier. Listening to Each Other.
God has used these times of testing and being stretched to build deeper unity among our church family as we have learned to listen to each other and then rolled up our sleeves and gotten involved in this Divine Calling.
STAFFING
We are so blessed that God has supplied all of our needs above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. We presently have 10 full-time pastoral staff and 6 full-time supporting staff. Our pastoral staff are primarily disciple-makers, who are training leaders in the following areas of ministry. In 2005, our senior pastor led a staff of 5, which included, our Director of Worship, Director of Children’s Ministries, Associate Pastor of Youth Ministry Development, Associate Pastor of Adults, and Director of Technical Arts. In 2006, we brought our second Associate Pastor of Adults on board. In 2007, we re-organized our Support Staff, and brought in staff person for our fast-growing Technical Arts ministry. And we were able to hire a full-time Associate Director of Children’s Ministries who is a trainer of staff and who helps give oversight to what is now one of our largest ministries. In 2008, God blessed us with an Associate Director of Creative Arts to support the many in-house and outreach ministries that connect people with our creative God through music and the arts.
In 2009, due to the ever-expanding adult population at FCCO, we were able to hire our third Adult Pastor to help shepherd and disciple our adults. And this year, 2010, God led just the right person to give overall coordination to our staff, and administrative oversight to this flock of over 1000 people, as our Executive Pastor.
FACILITIES
Facilities are simply tools to support this ministry. Five years ago we completed a three-phase
master building plan, with the purchase of two acres of land, with a mission
house, and youth center building.
Athletic fields and additional parking was constructed as well as an
educational wing for adults and children.
