Parent Meeting

September 11, 10:00 – 11:15 am

In your parenting, are there areas that you wish you could have a “do-over”?  Are there times when you struggle to be more patient, kind, loving, supportive, merciful, or encouraging?  Parenting is not about being perfect, it’s about becoming more like Jesus. At the September 11th parent meeting, we’ll hear from a panel of parents at different stages of parenting/grandparenting. We’ll hear how they’ve tried to lead their kids well spiritually, what their greatest struggle is and how they lean into God at those times, how they’ve encouraged their kids to serve, and what they wish they had a chance to do all over again.

We’ll also:

  • Hear the vision for the year in Kids’, Student, and Family Ministries as we share an overview of the D6 fall curriculum to  “live by the example of Jesus in your words, actions, love, and faith to bring love to a dark world”
  • Remind you of God’s call on your life to be the primary disciple-maker of your kids and teens
  • Share resources to help you lead your family well.

Please join us at 10 am, September 11, in Room C/D for coffee, snacks, and “all things parenting.”  Please make it a priority to be at this event.  Your family is worth it!
