The Power of the Holy Spirit - Part 1

"'Not by might or by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty." [Zechariah 4:6a] The Holy Spirit is all-powerful. He has power over creation. He has power over the grave. And, He has the power to transform our hearts. Sunday, we’ll see that the same Spirit that brought Jesus back from the dead also brings us to new life in Christ. And the Spirit’s power works in us to fill us with hope, joy, and peace.

From Series: "The Holy Spirit"

Many Christians throughout the ages have struggled to understand the person and work of the Holy Spirit. Our attention often focuses on God the Father and Christ the Son. But as the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is also deserving of our praise, worship, and obedience. Our prayer for this new sermon series is that we won’t just gain a biblical understanding of the Spirit—we also want to experience Him in a fresh way. Throughout this eleven-week series, we’ll explore the person and power of the Spirit, His role as our sanctifier and teacher, the fruit and gifts of the Spirit, what it means to grieve and quench the Spirit, how to keep in step with Him, and more. Please join us for this life-changing series.
