One of the values of our church is Praying Dependently. In Ephesians 6, the apostle Paul reminds us, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” After encouraging us to put on the armor of God, he tells us to pray. Prayer allows us to “be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power”.
The elders invite you to a night of prayer on Sunday evening, October 12, from 6:30-8:00pm. During our time together, we’ll pray for the following:
- God’s protection from the evil one
- The bold witness of the people of God and the church.
- Christians to live as peacemakers and engage in conversations with grace and truth with those with whom they disagree.
- The discipleship and ongoing transformation of new and seeking believers
- Revival in America through Christians living as salt and light where God has placed them
Let’s approach God’s throne boldly together in prayer!
