CHRISTMAS PRESENTATION SUNDAY 2024
A Children’s Christmas Presentationwill be held on Sunday, December 15 during both services.
- Children’s portion: Children from four years old (and those preschoolers who are a bit younger and were in last year’s pageant) through grade six are welcome to participate in the children’s songs on that morning. Practices start on Sunday, November 17.
- Practice for the three songs to be learned will be held every Sunday morning from 9:50 – 10:20 in the K-2 room. There are only four weeks of rehearsal, so please have your children at as many practices as possible.
- Practice CD’s of the three songs to be learned are available at the Welcome Desk. The songs are available digitally as well. Please pick up a CD this week! This is the primary way to learn the songs—we really need your help, so please practice them at home.
- What to wear for the Christmas presentation: Children will be in costume (sheep, shepherds, angels, etc.). Parents will fit their child for a costume at church. It will be easy! The costume room will be ready on Sunday,
Nov. 24. More info to come on costume fittings. - Dress rehearsal for all participants: Thursday, December 12, 6:00 – 7:00 in the sanctuary (preschoolers are usually dismissed a bit early).
- Performance Day – Sunday, December 15: All participants should arrive at 8:00 am to put on costumes in the Dining Room followed by practice at 8:15 in the sanctuary. Families: Please commit to being in both services. Families can leave after the music portion of the 2nd service if they wish.
- Morning Schedule for participants: The kids’ music portion will take place during the first 20 minutes of the services. Children will be walked to their classes after their performance. K – 4 programming will be available after the music portion of the service.
- Club 56 will run as usual.
- Non-participants: Please enjoy the Christmas Presentation with your families. There is Preschool/K-4 programming after kids’ music portion of both services.
- PLEASE HELP: We need some parents for supervision and snacks on the performance day. Please let Stacey Farley or Sandy Stanard know if you are available.
