Next Message: Motherhood Matters
Dan Mitchum - May 12, 2024
Moms don’t want to sleep like babies—they want to sleep like dads! That statement is funny because it’s all too true. Mothers go way above and beyond to care for their children. They selflessly put the needs of their family before their own. But who cares for moms? Who lifts them and encourages them? Yes, children and husbands are to appreciate her, but the Lord is the first to affirm and bless mothers. Tomorrow, we’ll see how much God delights in the sacrificial love moms pour upon their children.

Chasing After Control
Scripture says there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. But sometimes we don’t like the things that happen in those times and seasons. When life doesn’t make sense what are we to do? This week, “the teacher” of Ecclesiastes will help us discover how to release control and trust God with the “whys” of our lives.
Scripture References: Ecclesiastes 3:1-17

This week we start a new sermon series on one of the most puzzling books of the Bible. Ecclesiastes was written by a man searching for the secret of life. Hoping to find the answer, he experimented with everything life has to offer. He threw amazing parties, built breathtaking buildings, amassed incredible wealth—and that’s just for starters. He denied himself nothing his eyes desired and refused his heart no pleasure. And what did he discover?
