Next Message: Living in God's Rest
Marc Swenson - May 5, 2024
We’ve all heard of the proverbial Frog in the Kettle. Israel was in this situation. The heat was getting turned up. Through the prophet Micah, they were given warning after warning to repent, change their ways, turn their hearts back to God, and get out of the pot before it was too late. This week we’ll learn what made them so comfortable, and we’ll consider the warming waters around our own lives and how God might have us respond. Join us for a powerful morning of worship, prayer, and the sharing of God’s word! We’ll see you Sunday.

The Great Race
All the heroes of the faith in Hebrews 11 are cheering us on from heaven today. They’re urging us to keep running the great race—for that is what the Christian life is. It’s a race we run with endurance as our eyes are fixed on Jesus. Yes, there are times when we want to quit or temporarily step off the track, but there’s a finish line in our sights. And just beyond is a reward that surpasses our wildest dreams and expectations. Join us as Hebrews equips us to keep following Jesus.
Scripture References: Hebrews 12:1-13
From Series: "Hebrews: JESUS IS GREATER"
The overall message of Hebrews is JESUS IS GREATER. Greater than what? Jesus is greater than everything! The early Christians needed to be reminded of the supremacy of Christ over all people and things.
