Next Message: Living in God's Rest

Marc Swenson - May 5, 2024

We’ve all heard of the proverbial Frog in the Kettle. Israel was in this situation. The heat was getting turned up. Through the prophet Micah, they were given warning after warning to repent, change their ways, turn their hearts back to God, and get out of the pot before it was too late. This week we’ll learn what made them so comfortable, and we’ll consider the warming waters around our own lives and how God might have us respond. Join us for a powerful morning of worship, prayer, and the sharing of God’s word! We’ll see you Sunday.

Love Has Won

He is Risen! This is what we’ll celebrate on Easter Sunday. It is the biggest news in all of history. But did you know that through the cross and empty grave, Jesus not only defeated death, but also answered the most important questions of our lives? Join us as we find answers to the deepest concerns of our hearts, hear stories of transformation, celebrate 14 people getting baptized, and worship our Risen King. Love Has Won! We can’t wait to celebrate the resurrection with you.

Scripture References: Matthew 27:45-54, Matthew 28:1-10

From Series: "Jesus' Last Words"

If you could choose your final words, what would they be? Most certainly, they would express love and gratitude for family and friends. You’d carefully select them to bring blessing to all who heard. Jesus spoke His final words from the cross. In the six hours of His death, He uttered seven sayings that have forever changed our lives and the world. He spoke of forgiveness, salvation, affection, anguish, suffering, victory, and contentment. It is in these dying words that Jesus promises us new life. In this series, we’ll explore Jesus’ final words as seen and heard through the eyes and ears of those who stood near the cross.
