Men’s Retreat

September 22-23

Men, we have an awesome opportunity to gather with other guys from FCCO for a 24-hour retreat that will refresh and refill you! We’ll stay at Camp Sentinel in Tuftonboro. We’ll eat, play hard, worship, do guy stuff, and most importantly open God’s Word together. Nic Brenner, one of FCCO’s mission partners, will be with us challenging us to consider how we can engage others with grace and truth. We live in a culture with numerous conversational landminds. How should we respond to those we differ with? How can we engage in a way that represents Christ and ultimately points others towards Him? Join us for a great 24 hours together!

Bio:  Nic grew up in Maine and after graduating from high school attended the University of New Hampshire to study civil engineering. While at UNH Nic surrendered his life to Christ and shortly after got involved with the college ministry of Cru where he began to grow in his love for Jesus and develop friendships that would last a lifetime.  During his senior year in college he met his wife Christy. They soon began working with the ministry of Cru full-time.  Over the past 20 years of marriage, God has gifted them with four fantastic kids (Jack, Charlie, Max and Tessa), ministry opportunities at Cornell University, University of New Hampshire, and SUNY Cortland University, and a life of adventure, joy and struggle, as they’ve followed His lead.  Recently Nic begun to work with Cru Church Movements which seeks to equip the local church to make disciples and reach their communities.  In his (extremely limited!) spare time he enjoys playing pick-up soccer and basketball, reading, fishing and hanging with friends.
