The Word: Not of Men but of God
The faith landscape in the U.S. is constantly changing. In his study, American Worldview Inventory 2023-2025, veteran researcher George Barna aimed to determine what born-again Christians truly believe. By “born-again Christians,” Barna means they believe they will go to heaven after they die, but only because they have confessed their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. One shocking discovery was believers’ attitudes toward the Bible. While 85 percent say they are deeply committed to their faith, only 55 percent read or study the Bible at least once a week! In 1 Thessalonians 2:13-16, Paul will remind us that the Bible is not of human origin but of God. When we ignore the Bible, we block ourselves from hearing God's voice. And how much we need to hear—and obey—His voice in a world that constantly demands our attention. Join us as we return to the majesty and miracle of God’s Word working in our lives.
