The Coming of the Lord
The Thessalonian Christians were worried. Some of their brothers and sisters had died, and they wondered what had happened to them. Are they alright? Where are they now? Their concern stemmed from confusion about the Lord’s second coming. They wanted to know what happens to believers who die before Jesus returns. Paul assures them that the dead in Christ are never forgotten. In fact, they are in the very presence of Jesus! Paul will tell them to encourage one another with the assurance that there is life—eternal life—after death. Join us as we discover what really happens after we die.
