Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find freedom from your hurts, hang-ups, and habits.
Tuesdays at 6:00 pm
Open Share Groups are designed for individuals struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups to share their stories and experiences with others in a safe and supportive environment. These groups, led by trained facilitators, provide a platform for confidential sharing and mutual encouragement, based on the 12 steps and the 8 principles of recovery. Groups are gender specific, so men meet with men and women meet with women.

Who among us does not have hurts, hang-ups and habits that need Christ’s healing? If you are looking to grow in Christ and find healing from your past or present struggles prayerfully consider joining a Celebrate Recovery Step Study. A CR Step Study is a personal journey through each of the 12 Steps of Celebrate Recovery in a confidential group led by a facilitator who has completed a study. A Step Study is a long-term commitment (9-12 months) to the members of the group and to yourself to find spiritual healing and health. Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements in each group session. Based on your input one of our CR leaders will be in touch with you to get you signed up for the right group and let you know when the start date is for that group. Step Studies will begin in September.
Criteria for participation:
- You have completed all of Life’s Healing Choices
- You have attended a previous CR Step Study
- Or have participated in a 12 Step program
If you are interested in joining but have not met any of the above criteria, please contact Sue Bolton at sue@firstossipee.net or call her at 603-539-6003 ext. 16.

Throughout this material, you will notice several references to the Christ-centered 12 Steps. Our prayer is that Celebrate Recovery will create a bridge to the millions of people who are familiar with the secular 12 Steps (I acknowledge the use of some material from the 12 Suggested Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous) and in so doing, introduce them to the one and only true Higher Power, Jesus Christ. Once they begin that relationship, asking Christ into their hearts as Lord and Savior, true healing and recovery can begin!
8-Week Class Each Spring
We’ve all been hurt by other people, we’ve hurt ourselves, and we’ve hurt others. And as a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, hang-up, or habit. But the question we all face is, “Where do we go from here?” Life’s Healing Choices 8-week DVD series taught by Pastor Rick Warren offers real answers and real hope for healing. It is based on the Beatitudes as preached by Jesus on the Sermon on the Mount. After each lesson will we break into smaller discussion groups—men with men and women with women. Childcare is available!
