The message is titled ‘Take Heart’, and it comes from the promise of Jesus in John 16 to give us His peace in a world full of trouble. If you are anxious, disturbed, or angry with what you see taking place around us, or maybe you can’t even handle thinking about it, come, join us, and find peace and rest offered in Christ. If you know of a friend in the same place, invite them. They’ll walk away with hope!

Other things are meant to be done with others. This Sunday, we will continue in the book of Philippians and look at something that God never intended for us to do alone: serving Him. I will say it again: Rejoice!” [4:4] Paul penned those words—not from a luxury apartment—but from a prison cell. How could he be so joyful while in jail? Because Paul didn’t live “under the circumstances.” He lived with his eyes on Jesus, and he knew God was at work even in the worst of times. Are you experiencing a problem or a tough situation right now? Are you rejoicing—not in your struggle—but rejoicing in the Lord? Paul will set a joyful example we can all follow.
