Sermon: “Remember Your Creator” from Joel Gill

Joel Gill - July 23, 2023

Remember Your Creator

A famous quote says, “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” But is that all there is to life, inspirational moments that are here and then gone? For many, whether they live 75, 85, 95 years or more, they pursue moments like this and miss the whole purpose of their lives. We will look at Ecclesiastes 11:7-12:8 and hear from Solomon that life is more than just searching for the next moment to take our breath away. Come discover why you were created and what truly gives your life purpose.

Scripture References: Ecclesiastes 11:7-10, Ecclesiastes 12:1-8

From Series: "Ecclesiastes: The Secret of Life"

This week we start a new sermon series on one of the most puzzling books of the Bible. Ecclesiastes was written by a man searching for the secret of life. Hoping to find the answer, he experimented with everything life has to offer. He threw amazing parties, built breathtaking buildings, amassed incredible wealth—and that’s just for starters. He denied himself nothing his eyes desired and refused his heart no pleasure. And what did he discover?
