Sermon: “Who Has Your Heart?” from Dan Mitchum

For Generations to Come. This is the theme of our building campaign that kicks off this Sunday. For generations, those who came before us have faithfully created spaces for more people to know Christ. Now it’s our turn. This Sunday, we’ll see that while this campaign is about buildings, it’s first and foremost about the people God is building. Join us as we learn what it means to be living stones who are a part of the spiritual house God is making for his glory.

From Series: "For Generations to Come"

This is an exciting season in the life of FCCO! This fall, we’re launching For Generations to Come—a capital campaign designed to create physical spaces where ministry can flourish, lives can be changed, and people can grow as followers of Jesus for years to come. Psalm 78:4, 6 captures the heart behind this vision: “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done… so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.” For generations, faithful people have prayed, served, sacrificed, and given so that we could experience the ministry we enjoy at FCCO today. Now it’s our turn. We’ll explore how each of us can be part of what God is doing—not simply by building for today, but by investing in people we may never meet. Join us each Sunday this fall as we discover how our giving, serving, sharing, hope, and priorities can leave a legacy of faith For Generations to Come.
