The Ministry of Motherhood
A few years ago, the U.S. surgeon general issued a warning (and this is true) that parenting can be harmful to one’s mental health. The nation’s doctor said parents are under dangerous levels of stress. He cited a report finding that on most days, parents feel overwhelming pressure. Today, we celebrate the most overworked and underappreciated people on the planet—mothers. While their calling is certainly stressful, we could not live without their loving care, correction, and guidance. At its core, motherhood is a ministry. God uses moms to shape us into the people He wants us to be. Join us as we gain greater respect for the ministry of godly mothers.
