The Death of Death

These days, it feels like we’re constantly overwhelmed by bad news. There are wars, political conflicts, and tensions everywhere. Then there’s the unrest in our own hearts. Many feel lost and hopeless. Internally, we ache for peace—peace within ourselves and with others. But most of all, we long to be at peace with God. Of all the enemies we face, none is greater than death. But, at Easter, we celebrate the death of death. In rising from the dead, Jesus defeated death once and for all! Because He is risen, we can truly live now and forevermore!

Scripture References: Matthew 28:1-10
