Sermon: “God’s Faithful Remnant” from Dan Mitchum

Dan Mitchum - May 19, 2024

God's Faithful Remnant

The first two chapters of Micah’s prophecy are filled with promises of judgment against God’s rebellious people. After sinning against the Lord for generations, God is ready to put His people in their place. But, at the end of chapter two, God speaks a breathtaking word of hope. For those who choose to faithfully follow Him, God promises salvation and a future they could have never dreamed of. Like then, many today say they believe in God. Countless people claim to be Christians. But God isn’t interested in just what we confess in words—He wants our beliefs backed up by godly behavior. Tomorrow, we’ll hear God speak to His faithful remnant. The remnant is made up of believers from all times and nations. It’s comprised of those who follow God with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength—no matter what.
